About VPO

The VPO is a thriving community orchestra. It is a full-sized symphony made up of accomplished and dedicated amateur musicians, and features local professionals as soloists. The orchestra meets every Wednesday evening from September to May to work on music from the classical and contemporary symphonic repertoire. We mount a five-concert season presenting programs which include music from both the traditional repertoire and Canadian works.
